I used to hate American TV and didn’t take much notice of all the new series coming out. I mean I used to watch Hill Street Blues (now that’s showing my age) but not much else. Recently though I have noticed that, with the exception of Spooks, British TV has taken a turn for the worse; even American comedies like two and a half men seem to be overtaking the British equivalents.

Loads of crime series and comedy series are coming out of America now, and they are brilliant. Funny, enthralling and riveting. So give them a try, you could start with two and a half men on Comedy Central and go from there – enjoy!
