Kinds of Style Guides

Style guide is defined as the standard document writing and design for general use or for certain organization or publication. Style guide can also be used for many formal documents such as academic, medical, low, business or government use. In this modern world we also use the style guide for graphic design and commonly focused on the aspects of technical and visual publication, spelling, grammar and many others. Types of style guide can be varied and changed periodically.
Each style can be also differentiated according to the usage. For instance for academic organization or university the style Guide are emphasizing the format style of document such as bibliography or citations to prepare the dissertation. For general usage, the style guides can be used with the newspaper or publishing approaches. The marketing or public relation division of any business organizations or non profit organizations also had their own style guides. News release or news letter can be the best example of their style guides.
Most publication for instance newspaper commonly use the style guides from graphic design in order to show the format or lay out on the page on what they wish to publish. Most of them pay serious attentions to the details of colors and fonts.
