Miss Gibraltar Miss World 2009

The representative of Gibraltar, Kaian Aldorino, was crowned Miss World 2009, after overcoming a further 111 candidates for the beauty in a ceremony in South Africa.

“With South Africa, this is the greatest moment of my life,” said a tearful Aldorino.

Miss Mexico, Perla Beltran, finished in second place and third place went to the South African Keshwar Tatum.

This contest, organized for 59th time – and the ninth time in South Africa – was broadcast live from Midrand, a suburb north of Johannesburg.
